In 1999, The Riley Foundation
provided a $150,000 grant which enabled the purchase of 10,000 new
non-fiction books. According to library director Steve
McCartney, this grant has given the library a much wider selection
- from cookbooks to religious books.
In 2001, The Riley Foundation
provided a $100,000 grant for the purchase of audio books.
This grant is helping to build an extensive collection of books on cassette
